Dr. Siddiqui continues to give back to local community:
Summer 2019 – Dr. Siddiqui used her trauma expertise to educate the at-risk youth by creating and executing a two-day program with the Ma’Ruf Center for Youth Innovation and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Dr. Siddiqui and her team (Afua Amoabin and Alyssa Graffy) developed an interactive program to teach vital lifesaving skills when facing life-threatening situations involving gun violence. The program builds on the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) courses and makes it into an interactive platform that youth can relate to and participate in. The Objective: Empower at-risk youth and provide them with hands-on training while demystifying the role of the trauma team.
